Materials: 1. Picture/Shadow Box Frame 2. Drawer Pulls 3. Thick Chain (or whatever jewellery you like) 4. Gorilla Glue 5. Double Stick Tape 6. Access to copy machine |
STEP 1: Lay down your chain or other choice of jewellery flat onto the copy machine in your desired pattern. |
STEP 2: Keep the lid open while you hit the "Colour Copy" button, this will create a black background. Depending on the size of your frame, you may need 1-2 sheets of paper. |
STEP 3: After the ink is dry, use double stick tape to connect the papers together, making it look like a seamless and continuous pattern. Place papers under glass, and secure into the frame. |
STEP 4: Use Gorilla Glue to adhere the drawer pulls as handles onto the side of the frame, let dry for 24 hours before picking up. |
Taa daa! You have got yourself one stylish jewellery-inspired tray. |

Came across this cute little DIY Project by Erica Domesek of P.S. I Made This on how to create a chic serving tray with a jewellery touch! How clever!
Had to share, think of all the endless possibilities! I'm thinking one with a skull theme with pieces from our "Grave Escape" Collection and another with some great vintage jewellery. Might have a bit of play this week with some jewellery prints, stay tuned for the update and images! xx
